We’ll cover a range of moving-together challenges from relaxed walking, focused heeling, dog-centered walking breaks and activities, and more. We'll develop different reward rituals, learn how to cope with distractions, build endurance and raise criteria.
The classroom environment offers you the opportunity to practice these skills around dogs and handlers working on the same activities. The small class size ensures plenty of individualized coaching. Portions of this class may be held outside, weather and activity permitting. Completing assigned homework (5-10 minutes a day) will greatly improve your performance in this class.
