We’ll cover additional skills that will help you progress more quickly in the real world (and in advanced classes) with your reactive dog. We'll practice being really relaxed... and begin to play with having fun/being more active and excited around other dogs as well. Calm settling around other dogs, fun attention games, and more complicated walking routines and strategies. The classroom environment offers you the opportunity to practice these skills around dogs and handlers working on the same activities. The small class size ensures plenty of individualized coaching.

There's so more that dog and handler teams can do and learn once the beginning class has taken the edge off and lengthened the fuse. We focus on coaching you to have better timing and technical skills so that you can achieve all possible progress. Several new foundation behaviors will give you more options in different situations in the real world, and we'll help you practice those behaviors under controlled conditions.

Intermediate Skills for Rowdy & Reactive Dogs is a reward-based class. Treats, toys, play and praise are generously utilized.

This class is available only to graduates of the Rowdy & Reactive Program (unless special permission is granted). We ask that you bring your dog on the same safety equipment you used in the Rowdy & Reactive Program's Group Class. Remember: no dogs first night.
