The cost of the 6 week series is $250. Class size is currently limited to 6 dogs.
We’ll practice your new skills (learned in Intermediate Skills class) and introduce additional distractions, including skateboards/bikes/scooters, unusual sights and sounds, joggers, and more. Relaxing, walking, playing, and learning new things around other dogs and distractions. Portions of this class may be held outside (weather permitting). The classroom environment offers you the opportunity to practice these skills around dogs and handlers working on the same activities. The small class size ensures plenty of individualized coaching.
The instructor for this class is Chad Byerly. Chad can help you understand your dog's current focus and motivation. Careful management of the environment and well-timed delivery of the appropriate reward will help you teach your dog how to cope with novel challenges in the real world.
New Challenges for Leash Reactive Dogs is a reward-based class. Treats, toys, play and praise are generously utilized. Chad asks that you bring your dog on the same safety equipment you used in the Rowdy & Reactive Program’s Group Class.
New Challenges for Leash Reactive Dogs is for graduates of Intermediate Skills for Rowdy & Reactive Dogs.
